New features and FREE theme pack to celebrate pride month!
Don't be fooled by the incremental update number—StimuWrite 2.2.2 has some features and improvements worth upgrading for!
Features and Improvements
- One button export! An export file will be saved in the location you previously chose with one click. It's easy to save often so you never lose work!
- Shortcut key ctrl + S or cmd + S added for exporting even faster
- Auto-curly quotes are now "smart", using context to decide whether to open or close a quote rather than just swapping the direction of the last used quote. Manual corrections are immediately respected.
- Less important messages now go in the "notification bar" instead of generating a pop up
- Code changes that should improve performance
Fixes
- Backgrounds never auto-switch to theme bg when custom image bg is set, plus other custom bg improvements
- Fixed bug with shaders in themes
- Markdown to HTML export removed
- Graphics engine bumped back up to GLES3 with GLES2 fall back

Two things -
1. I purchased the sci fi pack with the stars background. Every time it loops the screen flashes white for a fraction of a second, could this be fixed?
2. any chance of a starship engines background sound and/or a empty warehouse air conditioner occasional dripping water sound?

Ah, I'm sorry to hear about the looping issue. If you don't mind answering some questions, it would help me figure out what's going on. Do you have this issue with any of the other backgrounds? Or is it just the SP-CTRL video background? Is it a pure white flash, or just a brighter frame? What is your operating system and are you on the latest version of StimuWrite?
As for the soundscape suggestions I will definitely consider them!
